Firstly you cannot fault the room, the standard is very high, the bathroom fantastic with its huge bath and walk in shower. The beds are great and a very restful sleep was had. The hotel is a period style property and full of character, the decor is exactly what you would want it to be. The are some niggles though.... More

Usual great standards for this member of the HdV chain. But do watch out what rooms they allocate you. The rooms in the wing are small. I am a big fan of Hotel du Vin and this is one of my favourite locations. Beautiful rooms, great restaurant / bar, great food. Lovely for a cosy winter WE, when the cold gets too much it's a pleasure to snuggle inside with a nice glass of wine
