Stayed at this hotel for an overnight party. The room was comfortable, if you like a firm bed! The shower was great, one of those downpour set-ups, gave one a real soaking. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious and cooked in a proper manner. More

The staff were really friendly, welcoming and genuine. The room was pretty decent although the shower could have been better; overall for the price it was definitely a good sized room with a comfy bed and ok decor. The location is excellent and the breakfast was also really nice and worth getting up early for. Some of the communal areas... More

My husband & I have just returned from 1 night at the Royal Wells Hotel. We stayed in room 10 which is one of the suites. Our initial impression was what a lovely room but after staying the night decided it was in need of an update and a good clean. The room carpet was very dirty and some of... More

My wife and I booked to stay here the night as we were attending a wedding reception at another venue. My wife is heavily pregnant and I mentioned this on the phone when I booked the room. When we arrived they had reserved a car parking space for us right by the door even though they had their own wedding... More

A grand hotel, great value £80 b&b for a double room, dog friendly, our dog was allowed in the bar which was large and funky, they allowed us to eat breakfast in the bar so we didn't have to leave our dog (understandably he wasn't allowed in the restaurant) the service was great very friendly welcoming staff the food was... Perfect sevice, from the booking to the check-out. Unlike some other rveiviewers, we don't worry if the shelf in the bathroom is less than 4 inches wide. A lovely, charming, hotel with a great atmosphere and staff, and very good breakfast. Our children loved the interconnecting room between the Victoria and Albert Rooms,, and we appreciated the great views and... More

The staff are warm and welcoming. There was a lovely atmosphere about the place. Breakfast was tasty (lovely scrambled eggs) the only small downside was matress was very firm and the choice for breakfast was a bit limited. But I would def stay again More

My wife and I just returned to Denmark after having spent 3 nights in the Royal Wells hotel. I chose this hotel online simply because it looked "different". And if, like me, you're used to chain hotels, most of which look completely alike, the Royal Wells is certainly that - different. The hotel itself has quite a history and, if... More

I would like to use Trip Advisor to thank all the staff and management who served us on Sunday 16th Oct. It was our daughters 1st Birthday and we invited around 30 close friends and family to have Sunday lunch with us in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all very professional, yet relaxed and friendly.... More

I visited the hotel recently for a birthday meal for 28 people, including some children, to celebrate the birthday of family matriarch. The menu choices for the three course meal were selected in advance by the guests, and were served promptly. The food itself was delicious, and served by attentive and friendly staff. The first floor room in which we... More
