Easy to find and only minutes from the ferry terminal. The owners are great but maybe a bit over attentive. Couples like to sleep together and have the en suite so I think it would be a good idea to move the double bed into the room with the en suite and the single beds into the room that uses... More

A very good find, located literally minutes from the ferry port and train station. We were quite late arriving but were welcomed by Kim and shown around the place in full. The room was comfy, we shared a bathroom but didn't see anyone else so think we got it to ourselves! We were introduced to the other guests which I... More

John and Kim are very friendly. Some may say overly attentive. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very helpful for tourists wanting to know about the area. More

I stayed at Frith Lodge for nine separate weekends while I was in Dover training for an ultimately successful English Channel swim. I really can't recommend this place enough. John and Kim (the owners) are possibly the nicest people on the planet - genuinely happy to go out their way to help you at every opportunity - I felt like... More

Having tried to book via email which was unsuccessful I called and booked a room. Informing them I'd be there at 6pm. I arrived at 6.06pm and was left waiting on the steps for over two hours as they choose to go out. Both owners knew I was coming. How and why can a business treat it's customers in such... More

When we arrived we were offered hot or cold drinks and biscuits whilst we checked in and chatted with the very pleasant and helpful owners. Our rooms were good, the twin... More
