Owners are very friendly but other than that, there was nothing special about this place. Secure parking did not have enough space to accommodate our car on our second night so we had to park on the street. Breakfast is included with rate and is pretty good. There's a Premier Inn close to the water at a similar rate -... More

We wanted a 1 night stop-over before getting the ferry and chose this hotel because it's internet site stated "secure flood lit parking" - essential as we had the car loaded for our holiday with belongings, including birthday presents for our son. When we arrived (10:30p.m.) we were told that we could not use the secure car park because we... More

Having spent our annual vacation in Southern England we wanted to have a place to stay for the 2 nights prior to our ferry departure. So what we were looking for was a nice B&B close to the ferry port with parking. We found this at the West Bank Guest House. The room was simple, nice and clean and even... More

Stayed for two nights over the weekend, comfortable room on second floor facing the road but no noise from traffic due to double glazing, the complete hotel has just been extensively refurbished .Breakfast was very adequate and well cooked and presented. I would recommend this hotel for single nights or longer stays, My wife and I will certainly be returning. More

very business like B & B on a busy road, we got a room towards the front first and asked for a more quiet option, so got one at the side, which was o.k. More

We stayed at this B&B one night pre-cruise July of 2008. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Room was on 3rd floor facing the street. Clean and comfortable for the 3 of us. We were charged 5 GBP more for my son who is 17. Full English breakfast included. The owner kept our luggages for us downstairs, so we didn't... More

The West bank guest house is just the perfect spot for the traveler on a cruise we stayed here two nights after our transatlantic cruise , owners /operators are very nice and know their business. We were on the second floor room 16 in the front , the windows are double pained which kept out the noise, beds very comfortable... More

this small b&b is a little walk from the center but offers clean rooms and a full english breakfast which was small but pretty good. we paid £50.00 for one night which is about average and found it basic but fine for a one night stay. More

Owner and family are very helpful and polite. A good English breakfast is provided as standard, this is well cooked and the breakfast room is well appointed and comfortable. I will be staying there again in the next few weeks. More
