Hello! I would definitely recommend Bluebells! We were in Orchid Room on the top floor, which is very romantic and spacious:) the bathroom is enormous! The room and whole house are beautifully decorated , warm and stylish. Breakfast is very good ! ( lot's to choose from and delicious). Michelle is a great host. Her smile and help will be... More

After watching trip advisor on Channel 4 a few nights ago, I knew this review was overdue. Upon arrival I was stunned at my hosts beautiful home, then my wonderful room, which was tastefully decorated. I had a luxuriously large bed, good quality quilts and pillows, and a large sized bathroom all to myself! The room itself felt loved, and... More

My wife and I are from Southern California. Michelle is a excellent hostess! Rooms are adequate and everything is very clean. Food is great. The walk into town is nice - we couldn't have asked for more. Would recommend it to our closest friends and others. More

We have just returned home having spent five days at Bluebells. From Michelle's warm and friendly greeting as we arrived after a long journey from Cornwall to her cheery wave goodbye she made sure we were comfortable and extremely well cared for. The whole establishment is spotlessly clean, the decor very pleasing and our suite comfortable and very well appointed.... More

We stayed here when on a short break to Kent. Michelle was friendly and helpful and Bluebells is tastefully furnished and decorated to match the Vctorian house it is. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. Breakfast was plentiful with loads of choice, fruit, cereal, types of bread, continental, cooked etc. It is a good 10 minute walk to... More

Just outside the city wall, so a very brief walk and at an exceptionally good price. Breakfast is as good as it gets. Michelle is a warm and witty host. More

Arrived at Bluebells and we were not bowled over by the front of the property, however as soon as Michelle opened the front door and we stepped in we were immediately impressed. This Victorian property has been decorated beautifully and has many original features, such as goregous fireplaces in the bedroom and bathroom. We stayed in the Bluebells room which... More

My partner and I stayed at Bluebells Guest House for 7 nights last October. Bluebells is sited on a busy main road approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Canterbury East railway station and the city centre. We booked on-line and chose the Orchid Suite which occupies the whole of the top floor. This comprises of a small landing off which are... More

I stayed at Bluebells for two nights every week for 5 months due to a work placement. It is a really fantastic place, and great value for money. I stayed in all three rooms which are all beautifully decorated - the bathrooms are all lovely too. Michelle is a fantastic host and made great efforts to make sure that my... More

We were given a warm, friendly and genuine welcome from Michelle to Bluebells and it just got better. We had the Orchid Room on the top floor, being a fit 62 the stairs were no problem. Our bedroom by English standards has HUGE. Our ensuite was as a big as a bedroom we stayed at in Colchester. The furnishings are... More
