Rooms were dirty, there were hairs in the toilet and in the shower (which was by the way hidden in a cupboard). If you are five minutes too early for breakfast, the lady will let you feel it. Moreover, a strange smell could be remarked in the whole lodge. Was ist due to the mumified cat exposed in the center... More

I stayed in Ersham Lodge two times before. After the second visit i decided not to go there again. It was not what i wanted. After 2 years, we went to the Ersham Lodge, for the family room(with 3 adults), as seen on the website. This was a big disappointment! It was the same room we had a few years... More

A lovely character building with good parking.Owners nice friendly people but let themselves down as the room was very dusty and in need of a good clean, and also central heating was barely on whole time of our stay, despite weather being very cold. More

Ersham court kindly put us up at the last minute as we'd booked at the coach house inn and they had problems with the bathroom. We were slightly disappointed to be further out and the rooms weren't as pretty, but luckily they agreed same room rate. To be fair for the quality of the room I wouldn't of wanted to... More

Myself and a couple of girlfirends stayed here on a Saturday night after visiting Canterbury for the day. The owner was pleasant enought but the room we stayed in looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The carpet needed a good hoover and there was dust on every shelf and flat surface. It's a lovely building but... More

I stayed at Ersham Lodge for one night with a friend during a visit to Canterbury. The room was fine, if pretty dated, and cleanliness average. The road outside is very noisy - it doesn't keep me awake, but might be a consideration for light sleepers. There was wireless internet, which I appreciated a lot. It's also conveniently directly on... More

A 3 min drive from the station, the Ersham lodge is a warm welcoming little gem in Canterbury where you will feel instantly right at home. The best thing about this quaint little place would be the breakfast, but despite the delicious, filling meal the breakfast is outshined only by the excellent hospitality of the hosts. The rooms are clean... More

We travelled down from Manchester to bring our grandaughter's extra baggage to uni and spent a night at ERSHAM LODGE. Elaine & David were most welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. We wanted a pub with grub for an evening meal and Elaine suggested the THOMAS BECKET just a few minutes away, it turned out to be ideal, food... More

We stayed for one night on our way to France. We have three children and always have great problems in finding a hotel that will accomodate us all in one room. . However Ersham lodge was an exception and was great value for money as we would have had to pay twice the price for two rooms anywhere else.. We... More
