We enjoyed a night's stay at the Thannington.. it was good to have a swim in the pool opening onto the sheltered garden, where later we could sit out with a drink from the bar. I managed to book the last room available for the two days we stayed at this hotel. We were given the family room which was obviously a good size. Nicely furnished and very clean. The garden is so beautifully kept with lots of tables and chairs placed around for a quiet sit and drink from the bar if you want.... more
