“Thistle Nook sauna rooms”

Not the worst hotel but dated. The food in the restaurant was lovely although the breakfast in the morning was not. The swimming pool was out of service so didn't use the leisure facilities which was disappointing. The rooms however where a absolute sweat box. The heating was off but the heat was intense!! So bad that I couldn't sleep... More

Dear Reviewer, Unfortunately we had to close the pool at the time of your stay without notice due to a plant fault, this has now been resolved. “Very good meeting venue”

Excellent facilities, great service and super hospitality. Very well positoned in close proximity to the M25 and ample parking on site. We used the Board Room which was very well furnished, quiet and extremely comfortable. See you next month!

Needed a place to stay last minute and the Thistle was available. Pleasant looking hotel although snow showing its age. An obvious (new paint fumes) paint job in the public areas try hide an aging property. Quick and pleasant check in. Room is drab to say the least. Stayed here overnight on a business trip. We used the conference facilities and I found those fine. Stayed at the Thistle for 2 nights with my wife.Nice friendly staff , (big thank you To Gemma at reception) made you feel welcomed.was good after a day out coming back to hotel and relaxing in the leisure facilities.Easy to get to by car
