I Stayed one night after attending a wedding reception nearby. My room was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were genuinely welcoming.The Appletree cannot be faulted and is highly recommended as a B&B (and as a hangover cure).

My wife and I went to the nearby paradise wildlife park and stayed at the appletree b&b. We enjoyed a lovely room with complimentary wine and a stocked fridge. The owner was great and gave us a drop off into town and also a fantastic breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

Second time staying in this fabulous B&B and it didn't disappoint... a wonderful place to stay, lovely owners, gorgeous room and great hospitality. Next time, plan to return in summer to use the pool!!

Wonderful B & B, great hosts, magic breakfast, easy to find. Lovely oldy woldy town of Hertford with good pubs and restaurants. Heated pool, but a wee bit too cold in Sept. Great street markets open on a daily basis. yes a definite stay again.
