We had two really nice large comfortable rooms at this extremely well located hotel in historic Winchester. The staff in general were very friendly. Breakfast was great. If we were going back to Winchester, we would be happy to stay again. More

Peeling wall paper, the previous occupants' orange peel in the waste basket and a freezing room made our recent stay in this hotel less than ideal. Room allocated to us was a little tired and cold! An electric fan heater was supplied which did work but for a hotel of this standard I would expect integral heating/aircon.
