We were looking forward to staying here with my son before he started at the university. Unfortuntately he was rushed into A&E with appendicitis two days before our stay. After ringing the guest house as soon as we had returned from the hospital we were initially told we could get a full refund but after returning from a hospital visit... More

Helen and her husband (an old Cunard seaman, like myself) are very welcoming and helpfull, the rooms are very clean and very adequate (with loads of coffee, tea etc. in the rooms, not your usual two or three!), the the breakfast is very well served and is very substantial. A very good stay x thanks you two x

I'm Italian forgive me for my non-perfect english! I went here with my brother for three nights, twin room 50£/night with the shower in. The room was tiny but clean and the manager, a friendly woman, was very helpful in giving us tips about the city and things to visit and where to eat. 70 seconds walking to get to... More

Situated in centre of Southampton, only a 5 minute walk from train and coach stations, and town centre. Very wecoming and pleasant stay, clean and well looked after. We booked on line, and chose our own room, so we got what we wanted. The breakfast couldn't have been better, more than enough to eat, plenty of restuarants of all nationallitys... More

This place is definitevely good for a cheap stay in Southampton. The owner of the guest house is kind and honest, but the breakfast time is too short and last too early. We had a room with shower, but without the toilet, which was out of the room. When we woke up we could smell the fried bacon from the... More

We've stayed in Polygon Guest House for 3 nights. The old lady (staff? or the owner? I dont know) is quite nice and helpful. But you better not to borther her so much or you'd better let the job done by yourself. ^^ The environment of dinning room is excellent with traditional England style interior decoration. The guesthouse is always... More
