We booked onto this site for one night on the way to Cornwall, we stayed for three and have returned five times since May. The location is superb, heathland on one side and forest on the other. Having just returned form a 2 night stay at Ocknell, we really feel dissapointed, nothing wrong with the site. The main wardens in charge of this site were so unfriendly and unhelpful. Also you could put up a large awning for free but you had to pay £5 a night for a gazzebo, only aloud one 4 pole windbreak. This... more
I agree with the last review about ocknall stating if your old your have a brill time. i went up in 2005 with a load of friends over a long weekend we wear all 19/20 years of age and was just looking for a good time (games and bbq and yes of cause drink was involved) we had the stuck... more
