Overall we had a great week, we opted to stay in a lodge with hot tub which we have done every year for the past 3. This one however I would say was not as good as the other 2 for amenities. However the main selling point is the close proximity to the great sites of the New Forest. The... more

I booked a holiday at Oakdene Forest Park through the Sun promotions and stayed October 09 with my partner and dog. The caravan we were given was very old- which we would not have minded if it was clean and comfortable. The bedroom was the worst, the headboard thick with dust, the sides dirty, and a build up of dirt... more

I visited the park with my 2 year old and dog as my husband was away and wanted a break, I was also 33 weeks pregnant. When I booked the caravan I asked if there was room to fit a cot bed in one of the rooms and was told there would be and as they hire them didn’t think... more

This was an awful stay and what looked a glossy site on the internet. Pot holes in field. No washing up facilities. Was told to wash up in the sinks in the toilet block. Only portaloos and porta showers an no freezer block exchanges. more

We are no strangers to static caravan holidays but can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed this park. Facilities - Spar shop on site, swimming pool with flume, outdoor pool, play area, table tennis, crazy golf, arcades, etc. etc. This park also has a gym which is well equipped. There is a showbar, bar and cafe on site. There is a... more

Gym is above average, but perhaps in need of a few more stations. bar area is good, evening entertainment usual camp style, no complaints. café, is quite reasonable, serving a bit... more

Good place to stay if you want to be near the New Forest attractions and also near towns like Bournemouth and Ringwood. Clean caravans and well kept grounds. Very good Sauna and Steam Room but the Pool is a bit small for swimmers and children to share, for a bigger Pool take a trip to the sister park called Shorefield... more

We stayed on the connecting campside to Oakdene - called Forest Edge. Overall a good stay. The childrens facilities were adequate. Outside pool, ping pong and play area. 2 shower blocks both of which could do with some general updating and painting. Water in both not overly hot either and things like sink taps not working, shower heads needing descaling... more

Being someone who normally goes abroad on holiday, I was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our five days staying at Oakdene. We staying in one of their deluxe lodges which were extremely spacious, well kitted-out and with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The pool area wasn't particularly big, it was fine for... more
