My husband and I were walking the Cotswold Way, and needed somewhere close to the route, which also met our budget! Tibbiwell Lodge was only about a 5minute walk from the route, so perfect in that respect. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating - the dinner options were limited, being Easter Monday, and so we just got a takeaway... More

My daughter and I stayed in the twin room - beds were comfortable and wi-fi available to update our blog. The bathroom was shared, however, we were the only guests on this Tuesday in July. Dinner was at the Falcon Inn. Richard was a nice host and we enjoyed great conversation while eating a filling breakfast! This is a good... More

We were looking for a pet-friendly place to stay in the Cotswolds, and this seemed to fit the bill. We arrived in the dark and found the Lodge with some difficulty (the sign off the lane that says simply B&B - that's the one). There's also a cat (cats?) there, which we hadn't twigged - luckily our whippet didn't catch... More

Very friendy, and very comfortable (ask to see around their tree-house!) Convenient for people walking the Cotswold Way. More

Myself and my fiance stayed at Tibbiwell lodge for two nights and we had a very warm welcome by Richard a very nice and genuine man who is very helpful and when we stayed there before we left he was kind enough to give another couple a lift to the railway station because the taxi they had ordered did not... Charming village and Tibbiwell Lodge looks lovely from the outside. Sadly the twin room at the back of the house does not overlook the delightful view shown on the web site and, while spacious, seems to be lacking completion. There is a quarter inch gap around the door waiting the fitting of some door stop material. The private separate shower/WC... More

We stayed one night at the Lodge- two couples - for a local wedding reception. We had the balcony room and our friends had the terrace room. We received a warm welcome from the owner Richard and the family dog Smuggler and were promptly shown around. We had a dedicated dining room just down a sort flight of stairs from... More

A group of us stayed here for a weekend in February. The pre-visit contact with Richard was excellent. We also had a dog. The house itself is stunning, amazing views over the valley and very clean. The host was brilliant, breakfast fantastic and he even looked after our puppy so we could go to non-dog restaurants both evenings. We couldn't... More

We stayed at Tibbiwell Lodge over Valentines Weekend and had a fantastic stay. The welcome was personal and warm, with nothing being too much trouble. Richard is approachable, friendly and an excellent host, who's obvious keen friendship with perfection, shines throughout the whole property. Our room was beautiful, with attention to detail apparent. The bed was extremely comfy (and big!),... More

We had a wonderful four nights at Tibbiwell Lodge. Richard, the owner was very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. The views from the 'Terrace' and 'Balcony' rooms were lovely and overlooked a valley. Our room (The Balcony) was very warm and cosy and had a lovely covered balcony to sit out on in warmer weather. We stayed there over... More
