We stayed here both before and after a cycling tour of the Cotswolds, and here's the conclusion: This is the best B & B we've experienced in the UK, and we've stayed in quite a few. The rooms are spacious, light and airy, beautifully furnished, beds very comfortable. The baths are modern and very functional. Every amenity has been provided,... More

We stayed for 6 nights at Hanover House and had a great stay there in Cheltenham. Veronica and James are wonderful hosts and Veronica's breakfasts are a highlight of any stay. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the house would certainly be nice and warm in Winter. We can highly recommend this B&B for the quality conscious traveller.

This B & B is a lovely place to stay. You are welcomed into a very friendly family home and supplied with everything you would need. You are within very easy walking distance to the town centre. Be warned the bed in the Nursery is extremely hard though! Bathrooms were private use, but not en-suite which I personally would have... More

We're glad that on the whole, you enjoyed your stay with us. However we'd just like to comment on a couple of your points, We were sorry that you found the mattress uncomfortable but we find that opinion on mattresses is entirely subjective. What is hard to one person is soft to another and as you know it would be... More

Hanover House is a great place ran by two delightful people. It was a breath of fresh air!!. Veronica is a lovable female Basil Fawlty who does everything at 100 miles per hour. The bedrooms are great and beds are engulfing, Breakfast is entertaining , everyone around the table, strangers are friends you haven't met yet, the alfresco approach to... More

The moment we stepped into Hanover House we felt not only the warmth of a beautifully decorated residence but also the warmth of it's owners Veronica and James. The sitting room was luxuriously furnished yet had a homely feel that invited you in to relax and enjoy. The bedroom was elegantly decorated and the centre piece no doubt was the... More

We spent only one night in Hanover House and we had a very delightful experience. Forniture in the house had a really English style. Landlady and landlord were so helpful and kind that you really feel like home. Breakfast was fantastic! A bit expensive, but it is worth the cost.

and very convenient for central Cheltenham and shops. This was our second stay, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. This is a particularly useful location if you're attending any of the festivals. Wonderful breakfasts too!

I stayed here one night not having any expectations - I found it delightful - the owners were helpful and nothing was too much trouble - the bed was comfortable, breakfast delicious and I was tempted to book in for another night! Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Cheltenham if they have availability. Would definitely recommend.
