We went to Ellenborough Park for our 34th wedding anniversary and were very, very impressed with the site, the service and the whole experience. When I read the reviews here before booking I was of the impression that it can't be as good as described because nowhere has such good ratings. Well, I was wrong! We took the Celebration package... Visiting Ellenborough Park for the first time we were extremely impressed by the reception and service. However one thing did spoil the experience slightly - football.... From the reviews on here I felt we knew what to expect but the reality was better. The greeting and service was fantastic, I've never been given a tour before when checking in and... More

We went to Ellenborough park for a weekend spa break to cellebrate twenty years of service to my employer, and they paid, which was an added bonus! Our break consisted of two nights in one of their suites (the Isatabraq) and dinner in each of the Brasserie and fine dining rooms. The food was good, breakfast excellent, and the wine... More

This has to be one of the best hotels in England! You cannot fault the service, the food or the quality of accommodation. Our room was excellent, large, spotless and had everything we needed including Air con, HD TV, WiFi, Hot drinks & kettle, large bathroom with bath & shower, robes. We ate a light lunch in the Brasserie (The... More

We booked this solely on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews (it is outside of the AA scheme for some reason, but we took a chance). It really is a tremendous discovery, excellent conversion of a Cotswold manor house. We ended up in one of the annexe rooms and I think on balance they are the best option, real luxury. Highly... I have visited Ellenborough Park on a number of occasions and every time it has been top notch, you do pay for this though. Rather Pricey but you can tell why, staff seem to be highly trained and very respectful, helpful etc. Food from each of their kitchens is always good, from a burger on the patio to a full... More

I treated my wife Jennifer to an evening dinner in the fine dining room on her birthday. The menu was well presented with plenty of choice and was superbly cooked, . A pre starter mushroom mouse compliments of the chef was very welcome, my Chateau Brionne main coarse was carved at the table and was very tender. We had been... More

The positive part of my report: Ellenborough Park offers probably the best room comfort that you can expect anywhere on this world. And the best staff - wonderful people! And the best breakfast buffet! And an as nearly perfect cuisine. And the most elegant dining and drawing rooms. But PLEASE: Dear investors/owners: Invest a little bit (or more) money in... More

Thank you so much for your very positive review and specifically for your comments regarding our gardens. We have recently survived a coldest winter for a number of years and are currently managing the wettest drought in recent history. Our trees and plants have become confused and a considerable number have not survived these very tough conditions. We would welcome... More

As we entered the grounds of ellenborough park, the grandiouse, mandering driveway led us to the front door, where a friendly porter collected our luggage and led us to reception. As we swiftly checked in, albeit with a slight 5 minute delay as our room was being prepared, we coldnt help but marvel at the stunning rooms and fine furnishings.... More
