Hotel was pleasant and typically old world for this area. It was a cold january and whilst the 12ft high sash window was very pleasant, the 12ft high curtains totally covered the radiator and were sealed to the sides so couldnt be adjusted. So, heat or light... The bed was very soft, sagging in the middle and too high at... More

This was our 3rd year visiting the hotel and we always enjoy our weekend here! We were disappointed to be given a room smelling of paint with very strong fumes and freezing cold! We asked to change and 2 calls later we moved ourselves to an older room but one which was fresh and warm! The bed was lovely and... More

Stayed here for one night en route to meet up with family. I lived in the area for a while and always wondered what it was like inside this hotel. Got a really good deal for one night and so couldn't resist booking it. Yes, there was scaffolding all over the front which spoilt the exterior of the hotel but... More

OK - so I could whinge about the heating in the room, the soulless bar, and the bars of soap being the wrong size - but for the price I paid (circa 75 quid) - it's a bargain. Just avoid the bar and for food and drinks head the Brasserie Blanc downstairs, although its not accesible from the main hotel,... More

We booked a wine and dine package, bed, breakfast and 5 course evening meal, the waiter was brilliant as was the food and wine, cannot complain one bit, certainly reccomend it. Only little problem was waiting for a taxi as it was race day but that's not the hotel's fault. Good location for town centre and loads of pubs and... More

Nice enough hotel but unfortunately we stayed New Years Eve and the restaurant next to the hotel had a live band on. Our room was right next door and the music was so lound you would of thought they were at the end of our bed in our room. In the morning we could also hear the radio from he... More

The title says it all. I paid £162.00 for a one night stay and the room wasn't Four Star. They are working on the Hotel but I am not sure if that extendes to the interior. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. More

Stayed at this hotel last month. Stayed in one of their family rooms which was modern and very clean! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Queen's Hotel. Nice location, very convenient for Cheltenham's shopping and restaurants. Service was OK, but don't ask the reception front desk for food or drinks while sitting in the lounge. They promise to send someone over but don't. (3rd time that has happened to me when visiting this hotel!) They served a surprisingly good afternoon Tea and the breakfast was good, for... More
