Stayed at this venue as we had a wedding in Dedham. A hidden gem. Couldn't have stayed in a nicer place for the night. Dedham is a truly beautiful Village in Essex and I would highly recommend this as a lovely place to stay

We have stayed at Dedham Hall several times over recent years and have always enjoyed our visits - in Summer and Winter. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the food is first class. My wife is not a vegetarian but does occasionally enjoy dipping into that part of the menu and pronounced on one of our visits... More

We walked here from Manningtree on a freezing cold day along the river Stour and it was so comforting to arrive at this warm, gorgeous house and be served tea and cake by a wood fire. I can only imagine how beautiful the place it would be when the sun comes out! Our stay was peaceful and relaxing - comfortable... More

Had a great stay, very nice location, great food in the restaurant. Relaxed environment, welcoming and friendly staff, tea and cake when we arrived. Good price, recommended. They also run art courses in adjacent barns...maybe next time.

The location of this place is tremendous: it is set well away from the road in its own grounds. The building is a 15th century manor house, much modified over the years, so you do tend to hear fellow guests moving around; not a major problem in a place like this, as most people have a similar timetable, and you... We stayed here at the end of October when attending a party locally. The owners were friendly but not intrusive, they had really made every effort. The room very comfortable and breakfast extremely good. Price was fair. Exactly what we wanted. We would come back.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Dedham Hall.Traveled"across the pond" for a painting workshop and my initial trepidation was instantly eased when I met Wendy and Jim. Loved everything about Dedham Hall...very cosy and comfortable, over the top food and service. Art studio was a great set up and ambiance that prevailed made me totally at ease.Enjoyed walking to... My husband, sister and I have just spent one night at Dedham Hall and we all loved it. On arrival we were treated to tea & biscuits in the sunny garden, then shown to very comfortable rooms furnished with taste and character. We all enjoyed our evening meal which was well cooked and professionally served. Breakfast was excellent and our... More

Stayed here for the first time, just one night, arrived 7pm Sat, left 11am, but feel like we were there 2 days! Made very welcome, not ingratiating thank goodness, can't fault the hotel or restaurant. But most of all loved the overall relaxing, wonderful feel of the place. Slept really well, so peaceful, felt very relaxed the whole time and... More
