We stayed overnight on Sat 19th May.We had to pay to park.Unfortunately the machine was not working and as it was a private company and we were unable to contact them we were concerned they would clamp us.So people parked in the busy main road because of this concern. There was one young man on duty covering the whole hotel. He was... @ 14:50 on 19 May 2012. I was during walk with my child. Emergency situation - change of nappy. Question passed to reception staff Josh: its possible to change nappy of my son. Josh: no! There is no possible, please leave now! Do it out doors! It was next to check in guest. Its against equal rights and DDA act!... More

My partner and I stayed at the Hastings Travelodge for 3 nights during May 2012 while in the area for a business trip. We stayed in room 219 and while the room was spacious (probably overly so as there was a cavernous space in the room with nothing filling it) it was also extremely basic with a double bed, 1... More

Well this was a shock to be honest. I turned up late in the evening and checked in. The room smelt of sick and the windows were left open to air the room the out so it was ice cold in there. I complained and asked for another room. They said there is only one room left. I was shown... More

We have not yet been disappointed with our accommodation at a Travelodge. You get what you pay for. Clean room and bathroom. Good size room with comfortable bed. An easy walk into Hastings but plenty of public transport passing the hotel so you can leave your car at the hotel. No bad points for us. Ada the Turkish restaurant is... More

You really do get what you pay for:- Good Points:- Clean room/bathroom. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Clean bedding/towels. TV with main terrestrial channels. Bad Points:- Limited parking at front (plenty at side but didn't look too secure). Door furniture to room badly fixed/repaired. On balance, for the price, the hotel served it purpose. More

Our stay was horrible. I'm disgusted that they are happy to let people stay in this Hotel!! Where to start! Never any staff at reception. The bathroom stunk of stale urine and mould, the shower curtain was mouldy and stained, there was a piece of metal in the bath, god knows where it came from! There was dried blood on... More

Stayed here Mon & Tues this week for total of £30. Standard Travelodge experience - clean efficient and friendly. Parking is £3 for 24 hours on site or free in the road right outside - however tends to fill up early in morning so getting a space at the usual check in time of 3.00 is not so easy. 10... More

[--] mattresses, how can it be good value for the company to buy these. Anyway, okay place, decent service, but they spend money on quality taps, so how about some mattresses that don't leave me with a backache. More

The tried and trusted rule with Travelodge applies, if you pay full price it's certainly not value for money, if it's on a deal then I'm prepared to accept a few shortcomings. If I only get a full price offer then I can always find a quality B&B for similar money and stay elsewhere. Stayed here to visit family, so... More
