just wanted to write and say that we experienced a great visit to the cosmopolitan after arriving unbooked late at night. The owner was so helpful a room was shown it was clean and bright spotless bedding. Light fitting not fitted, no spare loo roll, window that wouldn't shut, breakfast room more suited to a mortuary. Despite that the staff were very good, shame that the owner doesn't update the hotel. more

Read all the reviews on here because if we have we may not have made the disastrous mistake of staying here! My wife and i stayed here on 13/05/10 for our 10th wed aniv. I paid £49 inc breakfast, saw the illuminated Pier from our balcony. Friendly staff. In need of minor redec, but for the money an excellent choice for anyone on a budget. No complaints here, thank you Cosmopolitan Hotel. Would recommend maybe a mini fridge in the rooms more

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel for 1 night on 01st May, it's really close to the centre, shops, pier etc. Really friendly staff and okay breakfast....slightly cold. Overall, I don't have any complaints and would book this hotel again...it is under new management so I wouldn't go by the old reviews :-) more
