I arrived hot and tired. Steve at reception was very helpful and even upgraded my room for me to a lovely sea view as this was my first trip to Brighton. Being upgraded meant that the room I was in was an acceptable size. Being able tro watch the sea and sun go down was a treat. Staff in all... More

On 19th may me and my new wife celebrated our wedding reception here. The staff were brilliant the function room, lobby and bar area was perfect for our 120 guests. The buffet food was lovely and every one commented on it. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was a spotless room with a four poster bed and modern bathroom.... More

I stayed for one night during the Brighton Fringe and rooms everywhere were at a premium. Got a double room (but I was alone) for just under GBP 157 and room was not worth this. There was no light switch upon entering the room and you had to make your way down a longish carpeted corridor to the bathroom before... More

I booked for one night in a single bed room whilst in Brighton for a concert. The room was compact, but had everything I needed, the shower room was again small, but spotlessly clean. The bed linens were immaculate and freshly pressed the bed itself was cheap, uncomfortable, with quite an old mattress with springs seeming to come through. Check... More

The Brighton hotel is nothing other than wonderful. Fantastic value for money. A lovely clean and well furnished twin room with a sea veiw. Couldn't have ask for more. Breakfast was of a really good standard. The staff were helpful and cheerful. Although having a proper bar person would make much better atmosphere in the bar area. All in all... More

Stayed June 2011, the room was pokey, cold, dirty carpet, dirty windows and stains on ceiling. Water was coming through steadily into the reception/bar area. Worst of all the dining room was not open for evening meals leaving a choice of a toastie for dinner whilst listening to the completely out of tune piano or facing the wind and downpour.... More

Stayed here with Mrs Doc as she attended a conference nearby. Accommodation was at a premium and as always we perused TA before booking. This seafront hotel appeared the best of a bad bunch but nevertheless we got a very good deal on a superior room with a sea view. Parking space in Brighton is like the proverbial rocking horse... Room - I had a single room (423), with an uninspiring view, that had to be reached by going up and down small flights of stairs and through several fire doors (not easy with a suitcase). The floor had a definite slant (so much so that I tended roll to one side of the bed)! Windows badly fitting, decor tatty.... More

I stayed here for one night and would review the Hotel as average. The main reception and Bar area are really nice/ smart with nice helpful reception staff. To get to some of the rooms it is a bit of a maze including mine, but that is the nature of the building. Rooms are what you would expect for the... More

I stayed here for 5 nights on business and my first impressions on entering the hotel were that it is very nice. The reception and bar area are nicely decorated and are modern with a great view of the sea. The website pictures of the bedrooms were quite nice so I was expecting my room to be of the same... More
