I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of my UK vacation. It was a great choice. Arrived by bus - maybe a 10 minute easy walk along the sea front to the hotel. The owners were absolutely wonderful - friendly and helpful, but not at all in an obtrusive way. Later in the evening after Steve and I... more

I stayed at the Adelaide Hotel for almost 4 weeks in May/June of 2007. As soon as I arrived I knew I had made the right choice. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are so much nicer than the pictures on the website can convey. The decor is lovely and the rooms are spotless, with... more

A cosy, comfortable, welcoming and friendly place to stay. We had a weekend here in May 2007 during the Brighton Festival. The breakfast is good and filling too. Definitely would recommend this place and would stay there again. more

Firstly, I'd just like to thank everyone who reviewed the Adelaide Hotel on Trip-Advisor. These reviews convinced me to book a weekend stay here (Fri 24th/Sat 25th April 2007) for my girlfriend's 25th birthday, & I have to say that after our 2 nights I have nothing but positives to write about this hotel. I will give a full detailed... more

We stayed here for two nights in March. The location is excellent - perfect for both the restaurants and the lanes - and, as others have said, the hotel is comfortable, clean and very friendly. Despite it's central location, it is a peacful and restful place to stay in Brighton. Recommended. more

Perfect! My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend of the 5th/6th of November. We took the top room, which despite being up quite a lot of stairs (we were adequately informed of this fact before we booked) the room was charming, clean, airy and light. There was a king sized bed and a well equipped bathroom. Although we... more

My mother and I stayed at the Adelaide in Brighton at the beginning and the ending of our two week vacation in the Southeast of England this last November 2006. In addition to being quite beautiful, this B&B is extremely clean and well- kept. The non-smoking rooms are reasonably sized, have modern showers, and reasonable rates. You will have to... more

I stayed here with my wife for one night. The hotel is not glamorous nor particularly trendy, but is very clean and friendly. It is close to the seafront and amenities. The breakfast was above average and wasn't served with the usual 'economy' products. We would stay here again. more
