Arrived 15 mins before official check-in to be told needed to wait, then sent to wrong room. Bathroom wasdisgusting with waste water from toilet leaking on floor ( we didn't realise why floor was so wet until last morning). Restaurant staff friendly but atmosphere for meals souless. We have just returned from a very disappointing weekend break at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel. Our room was neither ‘comfortable’ nor ‘relaxing’ as the hotel website describes. It was tiny, rundown, stuffy and shabby, far beneath the standard I would expect from any 4 star hotel, particularly one carrying the infamous Hilton reputation.
