We recently stayed here to celebrate my birthday and were not let down at all. The room was lovely, huge bed, comfy pillows and great smellies in the bathroom! Regularly eat at the Wingrove, and last night's meal was excellent. Generally seem to use locally sourced produce, cooked and presented very well. Good wine list too. And service is generally very good and efficient, yet friendly. More

It takes a lot of thoughtful detail to make up the whole in place like this. Perfectly relaxing atmosphere after a long day on the Downs. High quality food, much of it locally sourced, and friendly staff. If we stayed again we would reserve one of the larger bedrooms, but that's not a criticism of the room we had. More

Laid back and totally relaxed.Do not go if you need a jacket and tie to feel socially secure .This is that Oh so rare combination of relaxed style and great food.I had the best ribeye steak and marrow bone gravy I can remeber eating anywhere in the world and that includes Texas and Argentina.Romantic and totally fullfilling.Such a surprise.
