Have just returned from our third visit to this excellent hotel. As always we were welcomed by Hazel and Keith with a much needed cup of tea after our long journey. The rooms are nicely decorated , comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean . The food is good quality home cooking with massive portions and the optional 3 course evening meal plus... More

The Woodside is run by Keith and Hazel, who always offer a very warm welcome to us. We arrived at the Woodside this year for a week over the May Bank Holiday weekend, greeted and shown to room 6 on the first floor, by Keith. We have been guests in this guest house nearly every year since we found it,... More

I have stayed at Woodside tens of times since 2007, actually it has been the only place I have wanted to stay when driving down to Bournemouth. It became during several years like a home for me. When driving down I used to call to Hazel and Keith and ask if they had anything available. Even if I often left... More

From the time we arrived we had a warm and friendly welcome. We had a lovely enormous comfortable bed. The room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Hazel cooked the most amazing breakfasts with fried eggs which were perfect. Keith was a wonderful waiter too. The whole time we were there we just felt so at home and welcome. It... More

Hazel and Keith have a warm welcome for their guests, the rooms are well appointed with everything you might need. The breakfast is huge and very well cooked. Hazel will always accommodate your foodie requests. The location is great too, a couple of minutes from the sea front in one direction and a couple of minutes from the local shops... More

The Woodside is a wonderful hotel! I stayed here with my partner over the summer of 2011, and found it to be extremely amenable. The food was excellent, the standard of service exceeded all expectations and, most importantly, the hosts were extremely polite and never delivered anything less than excellent service. I would recommend the Woodside hotel to all my... More

I travel regularly to the area and have had the pleasure of staying at the Woodside many times. The proprietors are extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is tasty! The location is ideal for going to the beach and for exploring the lovely surrounding country. More

We will definately be looking at The Woodside for our summer break again this year. We were made to feel very welcome, food was fab and the rooms bright and comfortable. Great value for money, a superb location and, as other views have stated, nothing is too much trouble for the owners. Can't wait to return! More
