Have stayed at several hotels in Bournemouth and for the price this is the best. The Hotel is in a good location to walk to the city centre. When we arrived at Marlins, we were greeeted by "Neil", the perfect gentleman - he made us feel more than welcome. He explained everything about the hotel. He gave us directions for the local eating places, in all directions. The room was absultely spotless and lovely. The en suite was immaculate. We could not have asked for a better place... more
Very friendly small hotel with free parking and in a great spot just a short walk from the shops or beach. We have stayed 3 times this year and all the rooms have been spotless and have everything you need for a short stay. Stayed 1 night here and have no quibbles really. I used a late booking as I had a 2 day kite surfing course to attend at Sandbanks and the wind being available was a critical consideration - didn't want to book a hotel only to find the course had been nuked by a failure of the weather. Spotlessly clean, excellent service, comfortable rooms. The best, freshest breakfast anywhere - a perfect start to the day. For our next stay in Bounemouth it will be Marlins. more

A wonderful weekend in a lovely hotel with brilliant staff, I would highly recommend. Very close to all the local ammenities, with free wireless internet access. Breakfast was always of the highest quality, and staff were friendly and welcoming. more
In my trekking around Lib dem Conference venues Neil and Michael are the ideal hosts along with Brighton House in Brighton. Marlins is impeccably clean with lots of little touches. My husband and I arrived to a friendly welcome. Very good room, comfortable bed,exceptionally clean well decorated. Breakfast was fab and we were offered more tea,coffee,toast. Brill place to stay! Thank-you Marlins more
