Stayed at Seven Stars for a stop over wedding night in a neighbouring village. The room was nice with a massive comfy bed and large shower, the facilities were generally good and it has everything you would need. The bar and whole building is nicely quirky as you'd expect from an old coaching inn however I was disappointed by the... More

We stayed in room 8 which is at the front of the hotel and overlooks the main street - a great place to sit and watch the world go by while sipping a G & T. As the room is over the bar it is a bit noisy at night, but that did not bother us. A very welcoming hotel... More

An old coaching inn, middle of town, full of character with staff that are happy in their jobs, which does make a difference. Can recommend meals in the restaurant and the bar (try the chicken caesar salad with anchovies - best I've tasted outside NY). Good prompt service. Rooms comfortable and up to date. We couldn't fault our 3 day... More

We stayed here to be under the same roof as a wedding party mid April. I booked a premier family room which I could not fault - it was - spacious, comfortable, beautifully presented and tastefully decorated (room No. 8) Service was impeccable, we were made to feel so very welcome, particularly by the receptionist who went out of her... Over the past few years I've spent many nights at the Seven Stars when in the area on business. It's been a nice place to stay - a welcome change from the standard faceless corporate hotels I seem to spend half my life in. The rooms are very pleasant, and there's a bit of variety between them so even on... More

We normally drop in at the Seven Stars when visiting the UK whilst in Totnes. The food is always good for pub grub, the service great and the stafff are very tolerant of the children. Worth a visit if visiting Totnes and also for the location right at the bottom of the highstreet. Just wish the portions size was a... More

The Seven Stars has a great central location. The room was very clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated/furnished, with a great sized bathroom having both a bath and shower cubicle (we stayed in a premier room). The thing that makes this hotel is the staff - everyone we came into contact with were friendly and professional - nothing was too much... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, it is much appreciated and the staff are really pleased with your comments. I took my partner for a weekend away staying over on Saturday 10th March. Everything was splendid - Comfortable Bed, Great Location, Clean Bathroom and Powerful Shower. We went downstairs and had dinner in the Saloon Bar which was second to none - perfect. On the way back we noticed that there was a disco ball set up - and... More
