Firstly the positive - the room was big, bed comfortable and nicely decorated. Short walk away were bars and places to eat. Quite a walk into the main town. The owner was very over attentive, we enjoy privacy when we stay away and like to come and go when we please. We could do this but everytime we left the... More

Bryan is a lovely host. We stayed for 2 nights in September & with all 3 rooms taken he was eager to offer everybody anything they required. We will definately be booking to stay here again. With the location a short walk from the life of Torquay it is just far enough away to be lovely & relaxing. The perfect... More

The Mulberry house was everything we wanted for a stay in the beautiful Torquay! The house itself is lovely, and the rooms did not dissappoint. Tea and coffee, lovely bed, en suite shower which was lovely and always hot water! The breakfast was so much better than other B&Bs, infact better than the big hotel chains, always on hand to... We arrived early and the room was ready. Good sized room with en suite shower & toilet. Comfortable bed. TV and tea making facilities were a plus. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful proprietor. Good location.

An elegant and tastefully decorated Victorian corner house in a quiet tree lined road. We stayed for a mid week break in early January. Our room was large, well furnished, bay fronted and en suite. It was warm and cosy, as was the whole house. This was matched by the warmth of the welcome from our host Brian. Nothing was... More

Brian is a brilliant host, helpful and friendly. The B&B is perfectly situated for the beach, shops and pier. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The only thing I had a slight issue with is the hardness of the bed.

We stayed at the Mulberry House for 2 nights whilst visiting Torquay. Brian the owner was very friendly and welcoming and kept the B&B to a high standard of cleanliness. The room was modern and obviously newly fitted out. Brian was at hand to find us when we got lost on arrival and was always at hand whenever we needed... More

We (me, my wife and our 13 year old) stayed at the Mulberry Guest house for 2 days as we were visiting relatives in the area. On arriving the Guest House looks very smart on the outside and continues on the inside. A very welcoming owner Brian helped us with our bags and immediately offered tea or coffee in the... More

Having been bumped from our booking at our usual hotel four days before we were due to arrive we managed to get two rooms at this very small B&B (three guest rooms only) I believe it has not long been opened by the current owner, Brian. Brian is very helpful and cooks a mean full english breakfast, along with offering... More

Having been recommended this quaint place to eat, we arrived and found that although it was quite late we were made most welcome. We were shown to a leather settee which was placed in front of an open log fire while we pondered our wine and food choices. We opted for the mushroom tart starter followed by the duck fillet...
