'We found Melba House a very friendly place to stay the room was very good clean good bed, tea, coffee plus from a 1 to 10 we gave it 10. First class breakfast and a good choice we also give that a 10, Myself and my girlfriend enjoy are stay there very good and relaxing 100%" More

Len, the host of this place is a very kind and polite person. He did guide us around Torquay quite well. However, I personally didn't enjoy the pink decor of the room. I do appreciate the positive comments that this guest has made. We regret that he did not like our decor, however as most people will appreciate, these things are a matter of individual taste. We always provide an additional spare toilet roll in our rooms, these are replaced on a daily basis (if necessary) when we service the rooms. However... More

We had a very warm welcome, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Len was very helpful with his local knowledge and told us best places to eat etc. Would definitely return! More

Hotel located within easy walk of town centre, marina and beach. Service was very friendly with excellent breakfast. Would certainly stay here again when next in the area. More

Our stay at Melba House was lovely. The breakfast was superb and served in a friendly atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were well looked after by Len and Patricia. We would certainly stay again. More

In a real good area to get out and about and but enough from town. Excellent breakfast and choice not just eggs, bacon etc, real friendly hosts as well. More
