Just what we needed.. Relaxed for the first time in some while, very clean room and en-suite, stayed in four poster room, very comfortable, everthing you could need. Breakfast as expected, good full English, comfortable dinning. Minor point, bedroom rad was full on but room was a little chilly. But would stay again for sure. More

Stayed here for NYE and would certainly stay here again. There was a friendly welcome when we arrived from Paul who carried our case and showed us to the room. We booked the four poster room which was lovely and decorated beautifully.Bed was comfortable and clean. The room, bathroom and the house in general was spotlessly clean and tidy. Nothing... More

We cannot speak highly enough of the hospitality extended to us on our stay. From the warm greeting after our long journey to the delicious breakfasts, great traveling advice and the lovely room...everything was bang on. We both felt it was great value and wouldn't hesitate recommending the Cranmore hospitality to anyone planning a trip down to Devon. Originally we'd... More

Stayed here in September with my partner. We had decided not to go abroad so wanted to spend a bit more on accom. in this country so looked at 4 star and exec/deluxe rooms. This was a nice guest house, very clean, great food for breakfast and nicely decorated etc. We were however disappointed with the executive room, thinking we... More

We've stayed at the Cranmore several times and each time it reaches new heights of comfort and friendliness. No request is too much and the most recent up-grades are mind-blowing. You keep thinking it can't possibly get any better - and then it does! We're already looking forward to our next visit. More

To say that the rooms are spotless and the food delicious is only what customers expect, but what makes the Cranmore special is the perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. This is hardly surprising as Paul used to be a chef and Beverly a holet housekeeper. Nothing is too much trouble: whatever you want to know - local busses, attractions,... More

We stayed at the Cranmore between 2nd and 5th May, we were greeted by Bev and Paul, who offered to us tea and biscuits on arrival. We arrived at 12.00 and were allowed to book in straightaway. My parents in law were given room 2 which has a four poster bed, they were absolutely delighted with this, the room overlooked... More
