Torquay is a beautiful town, but this B&B made my experience complete. I stayed at the Arran Lodge this past weekend and it was phenomenal! The rooms were immaculate, the breakfasts were delicious, and I haven't a single negative comment. When I arrived I was offered tea and cake (which was delicious). Entering my room, I found more tea, as... More

Fantastic stay from start to finish. Jo is very helpful, and happy to give advice on places to visit during your stay. The rooms are very comfortable and immaculately clean. Fresh towels daily. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and board, digital television, you'll want for nothing. And the best bit, breakfast!! From the fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts and... More

Arrived to a great welcome from proprietor Jo and treated to tea and cake. Had two rooms, one single on first floor and a double on ground floor. Both rooms were spotlessly clean, well decorated and furnished with lots of little extra touches - biscuits/mints/clothes brushes/shoe polishers & selection of DVDs to use in TV/DVD player. Ground floor double was... More

Jo the landlady is most helpful and friendly and made us feel very much at ease in her guest house. I slept very well each night in a comfortable bed in a clean modern quiet bedroom, and had a lovely warm shower in the ensuite and an excellent cooked breakfast each morning. I particularly liked the fact that there is... More

Well I can safely say that Arran Lodge is the best B and B I have ever stayed in by a country mile! The landlady, Jo, is easily one of the nicest, friendliest and genuinely caring people I can recall meeting, and makes it her personal mission to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and she succeeds with an...
