We travelled to Torquay in March and had a lovely stay in apartment number 4. Absolutely beautiful views of the sea from the sitting room window and the kitchen windows. There is also a lovely balcony in the kitchen to enjoy the views and the seaside air. A group of 4 of us stayed at the apartment and were really... More

Walked into a warm clean comtemporary apartment which has amazing veiws from the floor to ceiling windows. The very large wrap around balcony will be lovley in the summer to sit and have breakfast and dinner on. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedroom is a good size. This the best apartment that we have stayed and will look... More

Stayed in Apartment No.10 as recommended by other trip advisor reviews. Beautiful apartment with great views across the bay and a huge wrap around balcony with outside furniture and sun loungers. The accommodation is spotlessly clean with fluffy towels and a comfortable soft bed that cocoons you like a huge marshmallow! Car not necessary as town, marina, shops and rail... More

Holiday every year in Torquay and this is the best apartment so far. On entering apartment complex , nice open clean hallway. Stayed in Apartment 17. We were a family of 5 - 2 adults and children aged 9, 6 & 3. Its a 2 bedroom apartment. Main bedroom spacious and enough wardrobe space. Second bedroom for the kids was... More

This was our second visit to Astor House, as we loved it last time. We chose a ground floor apartment this time, No.8. As we had visited before, we were prepared for the fantastic view. I was unable to find the same quality accommodation, with such a view and balcony for a cheaper price. If I am being picky, the... More

We stayed at apartment 7 over the bank holiday weekend and could only arrive late on Friday evening so requested a late check out on Sunday. We were granted this request and therefore booked our stay. To our surprise, on Saturday afternoon, Diane the housekeeper informed us that we had to be out of the apartment by 12oclock on Sunday.... We recently returned from a weeks stay at Astor House in apartment 17. The first thing we noticed was the breathtaking sea view from the juliette balcony in the lounge. It really is quite stunning. The apartment is very large and spacious with modern decor. The kitchen has everything you need including a washing machine - which is such a... More

I stayed in a single bedroom apartment at the Astor House at the end of April of 2011 prior to returning to London for the royal wedding festivities. I found it to have a wonderful kitchen (even cooked Easter dinner for myself), a great view, good bath, and large bedroom. Torquay was a great place from which to explore by... More

On the whole we had a great week in Apartment number 8, the rooms were beautiful and the view was to die for! Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep for the whole week as firstly the mattress on the bed was the worst we've ever slept in ( VERY soft and you kept sliding off edges) and secondly though no...
