This is one of the best b&bs that I have stayed in. A very central location, 10 mins to the city centre, 5 mins to the Hoe. The accommodation is fantastic hosted by a wonderful landlady Sue, nothing is too much trouble without being over bearing, we arrived early but were able to park our car and go to our... More

Absolutely the best B&B available, really central location yet quiet and peaceful at the same time. Sue made us feel so welcome and was a fabulous hostess, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was well equipped spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable I could have stayed there all day! A 5 minute walk from the town centre... More

We are from Southern California and my wife is pretty picky. This isn't the Ritz but it is clean and close to the attractions. David and Sue went out of their way to be helpful and even arranged an early breakfast for us because we had to leave earlier than normal. We would definitely stay here again and encourage others... We spent one night at Rainbow Lodge on our way down to Cornwall - we enjoyed it very much. A welcoming host in David, a clean comfortable room, a terrific brekkie, and an easy, interesting walk to the waterfront. Just about the perfect stopover. More

Just stayed in Rainbow Lodge for 4 nights, where Sue and David went out of their way to make us welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a HUGE comfy bed! There were lots of little touches eg fresh milk on arrival, packets of delicious biscuits with our coffee/tea facilities, a weather forecast... More

Just stayed in the Rainbow Lodge for a couple of nights, where we were made to feel very welcome. Our hosts really went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible, even adding little touches like a welcoming bowl of sweets by the front door. Great en-suit room which was clean and well provisioned. Excellent choice... More
