We first visited in May and had booked for three nights. As soon as we had settled in we asked if we could stay for an extra night. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at ease. We immediately felt 'at home' and comfortable after a long drive. Ken and Caroline met us and we enjoyed a cup... more

Thankyou caroline and Ken for a welcoming, restfull and comfortable stay, even though it was only for one night. After an upsetting experience in a 15th century farmhouse b&b in south Devon, (consequently we had to sleep in the car), we then travelled to the north and arrived in Lynton, tired and not knowing where we would stay. We chose Lee... more

Stayed with Ken and Caroline at Lee House in Lynton from Monday to Friday. From the outset we could tell that we had made a good choice. We were made so welcome from the very first minute with tea and biscuits and a chat in the lounge. A couple with good humour, Ken and Caroline were able to help plan... more

Ken and Caroline are the "perfect hosts." From the moment the front door was opened there was a friendly welcome waiting for you.. On arrival in the guests lounge a complimentry coffee and biscuits was most welcome and a nice chat. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they have made a very relaxing home for all their guests to... more

We were greeted by the owners, Caroline and Ken, with tea and biscuits in the parlor, to get to know each other and hear about the house (a pleasant novelty for us). A lovely old house, but with modern, clean fittings, well maintained. Location is fabulous, right in the middle of Lynton, and close to coastal path trails and the... more

I returned from Lee House only 4 hours ago and I felt so strongly that I should let any potential travellers hear of what a smashing, warm, welcoming place Lee House is, also how quaint whilst at the same time, quietly lively Lynton is that I didn't want to let the grass grow for even a day!! A fabulously warm... more

My friend and I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Lee House. The new owners of the Lee House are fantastic! We arrived very late at night after a harrowing drive across the moors and were greeted by cheery Caroline and Ken, who promptly served us beers to start our relaxation! They are very friendly and chatty and... more

We stayed here on the first weekend that the hotel had re-opened after Christmas/New Year. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and tidy and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. On arriving we were given 'welcome drinks' of tea and coffee - a really nice touch. The hotel is very well located - a... more

We are sorry to hear that you experienced problems with the shower. The lack of pressure was reported to us by the next guests and the problem was successfully rectified.

Fantastic b&b in a great location on the doorstep of all the shops/amenities in Lynton and a short walk down the coast path into Lynmouth. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and very clean - arrived early and allowed to leave our bags even though rooms werent quite ready, staff at hotel very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic!!... more
