The rooms are soooo cold.... I wouldnt consider staying here again in WInter.... bbbrrrrr The service was nothing compared to B and Bs we have been to for similar prices - really they couldnt have been less helpful. The room was pretty and shabby and the whole place really needs a coat of paint and a redecoration. I wouldnt stay... more

It’s very difficult to respond to reviews like this, when people smile shake your hand and say what a great time they had and then write a review like this it gives you no opportunity deal with any dissatisfaction ffirst hand and immediately. As to the cold, we extended the heating period and as our other reviewer says turning up...

On arrival the room was very cold. Having turned up the thermostat on the radiator the room warmed significantly. Thete was no extra blankets but would probably be available if you asked Susan or Richard. Susan & Richard were both very nice and welcomed us with a drink of our choice from the licensed cafe that was part of the... more

My partner and I stayed at this charming little B&B for 2 nights during August. We stayed in a riverview room with balcony (room 4 i think!) and was definately worth paying a little extra for. Although the weather was a little changeable it was lovely to sit on the balcony at the end of a long days walk, enjoy... more

Just returned from a 3 night break at this hotel. It has a relaxed informal atmosphere and the owners were very welcoming and great with our son. What a great breakfast too, it got us off to a great start each morning. We stayed in room 2 and would have preferred a sea view but our son enjoyed watching the... more

We had already stayed 2 nights in Lynton but wanted to move down to Lynmouth to be near the sea for an extra night. After phoning around we were struggling to get in on a Friday evening. We had already called this hotel and they had just let their last room, however within an hour they called me back and... more

We stayed in a room with a balcony. Would highly recommend this, lovely views of the sea. Great location in Lynmouth, which is a very pretty/cosy tiny seaside town. Rooms were a bit small, but big enough to do the job. Bathrooms were fairly basic. I suspect the rooms could be much cleaner...I am allergic to dust....every time we closed... more

While I have every sympathy for Aussieopinions allergies I would refer you to other reviews posted where when mentioned cleanliness was singled out for positive comment. We can have up to 18 guests to serve in an hour and when as sometimes happens everyone comes down together there will inevitable be a wait. We will not compromise on the quality...
