As im a frequent traveller and hotel user who likes quality as well as value for money, I would consider myself a good and honest judge. On this occasion, I would strongly advise against anyone using this 'hotel'!!

If you book a Family Room beware of the Pub's opening hours which are until Midnight or 1am Monday-Saturday. The rooms are above a lively but noisy bar area. However, the room we stayed in could have been cleaner and better prepared.

I advise you not to stay here unless you are happy with lowering your standards. It has obviously got new owners since the 2004 review because there was no evidence of great people or service or cleanliness. It should not be classed as a 'Hotel' it should be classed as a noisy pub with rooms.

Well where do I start!!!.
I think I will start with the owners(Mike,Sam & Jen) they were fantasic hosts and what a laugh my husband and I had with them and the other guests.
The hotel is spotlessy clean & the food was goregous EVERY night. The indoor swimmingpool was lovley and a great asset when it's raining.
