A nice little pub/B&B with river views and short walk to the town centre. A bit disappointing to find the pub closed when we arrived at 2.30pm and we had to ring for someone to come and check us in. The pub didn't open to the public till approx 4pm, but there was no mention of this on our booking.... More

We did have the best room: first floor at the front overlooking the river and the Naval College. Magical old building on corner next to the ancient "mud" boat harbour filled in by the Yanks in preparation for the Normandy landing. We have just returned from a long weekend in Dartmouth over New Year. The Ship was the right place to be. Great service & lovely staff. Great food ... Breakfast and evening meal. Dont be decieved by the bar on the way in. As it fills up it takes on the feel of a real local and prices are reasonable.... More

Fairly basic, but a nice room with a great view. Huge breakfast with everything you could possibly want with stacks of toast. Food is all locally sourced (except the Heinz baked beans). Good location and plenty of pubs to walk to. Saw a dolphin in the river too ! More

The pub is really welcoming, the room was clean and very comfortable.Jim and his family/ team are lovely and can't do enough for their guests. Breakfast is substantial - great local food. The pub does food in the evening - this is ok but nothing special. We would recommend a visit. More

A building with a lot of history, nicely renovated with nice rooms and small bar and good breakfast. Nothing too fancy but not bad at all More
