Didn't stay in the hotel but went for lunch. The food was terrible and over priced. We ordered chicken burger and chips, vegetable Lasagne and gammon, eggs and chips. It is such a pretty village and we were able to stay in the heart of it at the New Inn. We had a lovely room with sea views from the large window seat. We ate in the restaurant which provided a lovely dinner. All the staff were very friendly. More

As part of our trek around the south west coast path the New Inn was a very quaint and quite comfortable stop. No TV or radios in the room though and the bar menu was limited with the restaurant closed, but great and very welcome baths. More

We went as a family and after several awful meals at other establishments great at last to have a reasonably decent meal. We ate about 7pm on a weekday and all the tables were taken. The service was good and the food was reasonably priced. A good choice of pubby food. More
