What a fabulous place - stayed for two days and wish it had been much longer. This is a jewel of a hotel in Cornwall. Sea views from the gorgeous rooms, with fabulous bathroom (massive) and shower. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The service was outstanding - nothing was too much trouble for any of... More

Another wonderful stay at Tresanton over Christmas. Thank you Federica and Jonathan amongst many for making this Christmas such a great experience for us both. The food was excellent and accommodation perfect. There is only one thing I could comment on that could be improved, and it’s a marginal observation. WIFI coverage throughout the hotel should be reviewed and upgraded.... More

The Tresanton has a formidable reputation for the finest dining and wonderful bedrooms without being overly fussy which it certainly delivers. The staff are perfectly charming and helpful when you need something different and they make you feel as though they just want want you to enjoy the hotel as much as they do. It must be the best place to... More

I hadn't read reviews of Hotel Tresanton on tripadvisor before our visit but, having done so now, I can only endorse the praise of other reviewers. This is a haven of understated luxury with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Service is superb from reception to restaurant to housekeeping. The hotel's simple decoration is complemented by well chosen pictures, sculptures and artefacts... More

My wife and I had heard a lot about Tresanton so we had with high expectations. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. We chose Tresanton parly because of its outstanding reputation, but also because of its proximity to both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. We were not disappointed. Tresanton occupies several levels and... More

This hotel was all we heard that it would be. All the staff were charming and helpful. They called the room small but with a sea view. We did not think it was small, it was what we would call 'cottage style'. The food was great. The only thing stopping it being 100% perfect was all the steps. There are... More

A most enjoyable stay with mild autumn weather at St Mawes at Hotel Tresanton which included an inspiring 'Back in a Week course ' by Sarah Key author of The Back Sufferers Bible. The decor and comfort of our bedroom and bathroom and the information and treatments given on Sarah's course were very restorative and hugely beneficial, the effects are... More

On our tour of Cornwall this summer we wished we had stayed here for a few more nights. The hotel is by the sea on the way into St Mawes. We arrived, park up by the entrance ( a door next to the road that leads up to the hotel ) called the hotel and shortly a man came to... More
