Wow, the accomadation on this site actually reduced me to tears. We paid over £600 which i think you'll agree is not 'peanuts' as one reviewer said for a chalet that had damp in both bedrooms, bedding that smelled foisty, poorly heated rooms, doors with holes punched in them (bathroom), mould in the bathroom and very uncomfortable 'lounge' seating. We stayed here for a short break in September 2011. It was part of The Sun holiday deal, and although worth the £40 price, I would never stay here again. The staff were very polite at reception, offering information on their evening entertainment and food/drink opening times. after reading some shocking reveiws of this park was very worried of what to find BUT was pleasently suprised had woodland budget 142 and 143, clean and tidy. no mould, smells or mushrooms growing as siad in some comments. yes could be updated but staff friendly and lovely wooded park, enjoyed our stay.
