I was with a couple of friends of mine and we were turned down by the "manager" because we were "three lads". The woman was clearly homophobic as she assumed that three guys in two rooms could do anything. I reported the episode to the police and we are considering to sue them. More

Have used the Grey Mullet 5 or 6 times over the years and what to write has been said before. Cosy,quaint,structually probably has not changed for centuries,very good breakfast and in a superb location. Very helpful to allow us to store our bag till the time our train arrived. More

Room (2) compact but perfectly adequate.Can be noisy if have windows open but that is the price of being in the centre of St Ives. Breakfast was very good. Room was only cleaned at the beginning of the stay whilst tea/coffee etc replaced daily. More
