I've stayed at several other HF properties and whether the regime here are responsible for my disappointment or whether HF is changing, I'm not sure. If you book through a hotel booking site, you should know that nearly all your fellow guests will be staying there to go out on guided walks. Had a good time on the surf and walk holiday (total of two weeks, out of eight in recent years). The walking and the sociability are the main attractions. Not for those not willing to share tables at meal times. I cannot fault the hotel or the holiday. More
