Friendly welcome, excellent food, very excellent breakfast. we like Cornwall very much and having a place to stay which is near St Ives and within walking distance of Carbis Bay is also good. More

I haven't been to a B&B before but my boyfriend wanted to take me for a winter romantic getaway and I haven't ever been to Cornwall either so it was a lovely surprise! The view from the B&B was amazing! We had a chat with tea etc when we arrived which was lovely, they took the time to get to... More

From a B&B I want a good bed and a good breakfast. Not only does this exceed my expectations on both, it is the best I have experienced. I have stayed hear a few times and yet I am always more impressed with every visit. I went here first due to the location: I discovered Carbis Bay a few years... More

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at The Mustard Tree in May this year and were so impressed we immediately booked to stay again in October. On each occasion the service was impeccable; a view clearly shared by the other guests during breakfast. This leads me nicely on to the breakfast, and wow, what a breakfast. The... More

On arriving we felt we were interviewed for our suitability to stay, even though we had pre-booked. We stayed for 3 nights and were moved each morning at breakfast to make way for other regular guests who arrived after us, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Breakfast was supposed to be sourced from various local top of the range places,... More

Whilst we are somewhat confused by your review for a number of reasons, we take any critisism seriously and are always looking to improve our standards. We are finding it difficult to verify when you stayed as the review appears to have been written almost a year after you stayed with us. We have no record of anyone from Tonbrige... More

We went for the weekend last week and was well impressed with the whole package of this guest house. There are five of us and we find it hard to get a room for 5, but this has a lovely big luxury family room with a fridge and a curtain to give some privacy for the parents. The price was... More

excellent B&B, clean rooms, plenty of space, John collected us from the airport at Newquay which saved time and was very convenient. They told us where to eat and where to go and provided maps of local walks. We were not charged for the extra room i had booked for my daughter who unfortunately was not able to join us... More

Stayed at the Mustard Tree in July for a weekend with friends. Was our first time to St Ives and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just outside on the main road into town but in a lovely location close to Carbis Bay. The rooms we had were lovely and the breakfast especially the choice of breakfast was first class.... More

We stayed at The Mustard Tree for 3 nights at the end of June 2011 and absolutely loved it. We took our 4 year old son and stayed in the family room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was amazing, our son is still talking about John's fried bread!! Nothing was too much trouble for John and Anne,... More

It is rare nowadays to encounter people and establishments who really care about the quality of service they provide, but rest assured both Anne & John at The Mustard Tree appreciate and deliver a service of utmost quality. The car-park, the garden, the lounge & dining room, the coffee & biccies on arrival, the breakfast, the restaurant recommendations, the en-suite... More
