Our whole visit at the Bay Hotel was fantastic from the moment we walked in to see if there was a room available. Luckily for us there was - it was full of charm featuring a large comfy bed and a great bathroom! Breakfast was a feast - best porridge I've had in a very long time. Car park right... More

We stayed for 2 nights from 08/05/13. Lovely warm welcome on arrival and although we were early shown straight to our room. The hotel has lots of interesting memorabilia to browse and enjoy. Rooms are very well furnished and comfortable. Gino the dog is a real character and adds to the charm of the place - a real gentle giant.... More

we stayed 6 nights in April. We arrived in the afternoon. Paul and Gino welcomed us and showed us our room on the second floor with lovely views of the ocean. Paul asked if there is anything we liked to drink for breakfast other than the ones on the menu. Mike told him he would like tomato juice. Sherry(not sure... More

I was in port Isaac for my cousins wedding and it was exactly what we wanted for the weekend. Paul was so welcoming and the room was really cute. Loved his Great Dane too. Very relaxed atmosphere with a more homely touch than a hotel. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I had a couple of nights here with a friend while we were walking the South West Coast Path. We had a great welcome from Gino (the gorgeous Great Dane) and Paul and were given lovely rooms with wonderful views of the sea and the cliffs we had walked along from Tintagel. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the beds... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in April. We were welcomed warmly by Paul and Gino! Our room was #12 - on the 2nd floor with a lovely side view of the ocean and bay. The room was fairly small but big enough, likewise with the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. I loved the fact that our room was warm... More

We stayed on the aforementioned "doc Martin party weekend" yes it was a bit noisy when a couple of the guests came in late after a wedding but that is not the fault of the owner! We found the welcome lovely, we turned up early so couldn't check in as the room was being cleaned. That was no problem as... More

When you have the opportunity to stay in a hotel, in a room with a balcony that offers you a view like this one, you consider yourself fortunate indeed. Paul and Gino (the great dane!) made excellent hosts. Whilst the wi-fi was a variable commodity, it was nice to be incommunicado for a couple of days to be honest. Breakfast... More

In our opinion this is a substandard B&B masquerading as a very shabby (and incredibly smelly) HOTEL. We have two dogs at home and are dog lovers however this place stank of dog....and no wonder when you see the size of the hound! Upon arriving at the "hotel" I really didn't appreciate being slobbered over by the giant mutt, although... More
