To be fair my criticism of the Cup Cake Cafe is not for the quality of the produce ...which was okay. I do not understand how the owners can justify charging £11. 30 for a small cup of tea and coffee 1 gluten free biscuit and a piece of Rocky Road !! and to takeaway in paper cups!! The Cafe... More

Visited March 2013. Expensive tea anfld coffee. Yuk! Dreadful sausage baps. Expensive too! Probably had to pay more for the grizzle! Suggest quality sausages or if stuck to find any locally Richmonds are good..........

The location so close to the harbour was fantastic, the rooms are functional and comfortable, the breakfats are served at 9am in the teacake shop were very good. Nigel was helpful with local knowledge and tips where to go and visit during the day. Dropping luggage off and picking luggage up was not that difficult as locals understand the need... More

We stayed at The Kittiwake Cottage for 3 nights (commencing Monday 30th July 2012). It should be stated that any visitors to this idillic place should be warned - the Port is not car friendly (neither should it be / it was never built / meant to be!) nor are there any car parks within the immediate vicinity. This is... More

I stayed at Kittiwake Cottage with my girlfriend and her parents. The location of the cottage is just perfect and is run by Nigel and Angela, who operate the Cupcakes Tea Room, which is adjacent to the rooms. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. However, it behooves me to mention the one or two issues we experienced, which left... More

We recently stayed 3 nights in the picture postcard seaside village of Port Isaac. Our accommodation fronted the courtyard of the cupcakes tearooms. This was ok for us as we were out sightseeing all day, but if you were planning a relaxing stay in the village it may not suit , as whilst business is operating, customers from tearoom sit... More

My husband and I have just returned from 3 nights at Kittiwake Cottage, Port Isacc. We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Angela and Nigels B&B - the most wonderful cooked breakfast, infact huge and very filling; lovely sausages/bacon and eggs. Really set us up for the day ahead. We stayed in the new extension which opened on to the... More

We've just returned from spending 4 days at the Kittiwake in Port Isaac and like the village it was small but idyllic. We stayed in Room 4, a fairly recent extension off the court yard. The decor was clean and simple and the bed was very comfortable, a necessity after long walks along the cliffs! The ensuite bathroom has a... More

We spent four nights in Kittiwake Cottage on a visit to Cornwall as we wanted to see the gorgeous village where "Doc Martin" is filmed. The guest house is situated only yards from the slipway and beach and has a lovely cafe (Cupcakes) next door which is owned by the same people and where B&B guests eat their breakfast. There... More
