We stumbled upon this pub when staying near Newlyn. Had a great meal, and were lucky enough to be there on one of their regular live music nights - Djazz Celtica were playing just the kind of music we love. We will definitely visit again, and this time probably stay there, when this band is playing again.

This pub does lovely main meals, but it does the bestest homemade sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream the area! My husband and I just visit for some pudding and a glass of rattlers cider, delicious!

Have been going here more frequently because the food is good and not too fancy which seems to be the trend in most other local pubs. Nice and cosy after a nice stroll, took our young children too. Good value for money, too much to eat.

Sunday lunch one of the best we have had with plentiful vegetables. Lots of locals eating there- always a good sign. Evening meals just as good- hearty quantities of both meat and vegetables. Service friendly and atmosphere warm and welcoming.
