I went here a while ago as a solo traveller and the experience was extremely good. The couple that run the guesthouse couldn't be more friendly or helpful and even gave me the choice of which room to stay in. It's ideally sited for tourism throughout Cornwall, so if you're in the area, this is where you want to go!
