We booked for 2 nights Aug weekend. Newquay can be expensive during summer and we paid a very fair price. Location was ideal as we were there for a Tidy Boys music weekend. Staff great + 24hr bar. Our bed was comfy and the room was perfectly serviceable for a budget hotel. Free parking and we were very happy with our stay. Thank you to all at surfers 😃

Just all you need! You must not expect to much only to be surprised by the lovely staff. Clean rooms, water was perfect but not for consumtion and a wifi that actually works :) Just perfect for just sleeping and enjoy the day out in town & on the beach on this A+ location.

Having visited the surfers hotel last weekend for a stag weekend, would say it's still a budget hotel but a great place to stay if you want it as a base, owner's are friendly and the place is clean and the bonus of having a 24 hour bar. Would recommend visiting if you are on stag nights.

If you like 2" of mattress, no tv, water not fit to drink, pay £5.00 for a towel and a manager that throws you out of the hotel when you ask for anything, this is the one for you. As a company we book our workers in hundreds of hotels around the uk and by far this is the worst yet.

We arrived on Monday stayed in room 17 and OMG it was the worse room we have ever stayed in you have to pay £5 deposit for towels + £1 which I hav been to 3* hotels before and never had to pay for a towel No drinking water from tap in bedroom had to go down 2 lots of stairs for a glass of water the shower came out cold and wasn’t the cleanest either no kettle in bedroom or fridge u had to take food to reception to keep it cold we had to buy our own kettle to have a cup of tea in morning the only good thing about the hotel was the bed was really comfortable car parking wasn’t brilliant either very small and was told we would have to change rooms on last nite cz they booked our room out when I had called a while before arriving saying We couldn’t come on the day and booked to come the Monday so was hotels fault will NEVER be returning kinda ruined mine and my husbands honeymoon it was a disgrace…

Lovely friendly staff, nothing is too much to ask. All other guests were really friendly making the place great to chill out. Great view out the front of the hotel Loved the 24 hour pizza! Only downside was the rooms were really hot.

Hi there! I'm just writing here for the people who would like to go tu Surfers Hotel in Newquay. I went there with my partner for 2 nights and I had a few bad experiences about the room commodities. 1- The room hasn't got drinking tap water... I didn't believe it when I saw it. 2- Shortage of plugs and we couldn't use them because there was a table blocking the socket... 3- You need to "rent" the towels because there is not any in the room... I didn't expect that many problems having paid £140 for ONLY 2 nights in a standard double bed room. I hope this is gonna help more than one person.

Good bits. Ideal location Very friendly helpful couple running it Great bar staff 24 hour bar Great service Ideal for groups Excellent value for money. Bad bits. None really, it was exactly as expected. If you want a 4/5 star hotel this is not for you, but if you want clean and friendly it's good. I'm not sure what people expect for the price? Will return
