As this was one of my very first visits to Cornwall with the family, we were recommended to this establishment by friends. The old fashioned décor is very welcoming and provides a real sense of home with nice food and people. Will definitely go back in future when in Cornwall. More

On a wet and windy night with all local pubs/eating places in the local area were packed with holiday makers, this was a very welcome and reasonable place for a evening meal, first visit for several years and will be going again. well done all. Newquay More

Although the hotel appears to be under going some kind of refurbishment and the rooms are fairly basic the food was warm and hearty. The land lady was fantastic. She was helpful, warm and the customer care was 5* More

Arrived late Sunday evening after a lovely weekend in Falmouth. Should have read the signs and moved on straight away. Dirty plates on all the tables, had to go through what looked like a store room to get to bedrooms. 3 rooms booked, 1 had a bath no shower, second had a shower, but advised it "might" work, third had... Plates on tables due to Guests arriving during a busy food session in the bar and restaurant, and priority is always given to guest check-in. 2 of our rooms are let as rooms with baths only as per confirmation, not all of our rooms have showers, although the room in question has now had the water pressure upgraded to accommodate... I stayed at the end of last summer and it was lovely, i surf and i was an ideal location for Watergate bay and various other surfer paridises! It is located directly opposite the airport (no noise though) and each room has a lovely view. The food last year was wonderful, and the young and enthusiastic chef was a pleasure... More

Stayed last night (17/10/07) and I have to say that Andy & Michelle are great hosts. They were happy to sit and have drink with customers and were very welcoming. The rooms are good value at £50 for B&B and the airport is literally a stone's throw. It sounds like they have big plans for the place and I wish... More

Good value for money. Very clean, friendly and convenient for the Airport. I had a early flight to catch the next morning and the Airways was just what I was looking for. More

We arrived in the middle of the summer season to an empty hotel, and it did not take long to see why. Broken glass doors, dirty rooms and light fitings caked in last seasons dust .Our bath was very clean, however the tiles around it were all broken causing yet another danger. The swimming pool was a delight, (no water) just brambles.... On a windy weekend (just gone) we arrived wet and wind swept. The lovely owner put the whole group up at a moments notice. The rooms were cleaned and cleared in minutes and a nie hot shower or bath awaited. Yes this hotel is currnetly basic but the owners have big plans to start on 1st July when the smoking... More
