The apartment was very lovely and well kitted out. However, there was mention of a DVD player in the description. There was none. Some things were removed for Covid reasons but we touched a remote for the TV and so on, so that should not be a reason. Anyhow, the mention of DVD player should just be removed. The other drawback was the loud noise of a vent from, we assumed, the Indian restaurant next door. Noise and smells were a bit bothersome and, sadly, covered the beautiful sound of waves crashing on the beach below from 8am to midnight. But we could not fault the amazing views and location.

We stayed here the rock lands apartments for a week,we were very impressed by the apartment it was very clean and had everything you could want. The kitchen was very well equipped very comfortable bed and plenty of space for all of your clothes, bathroom was very good had a bath and a shower ,and a storage cupboard in the hall for cases I would recommend this building . The only problem we had is that it didn’t come with parking and the car park we found was a good 10 minutes walk away we would have happily paid more if it had a parking space

My first time visiting Newquay and with current climate I was looking forward to a break! On arrival there is no car park with the apartment which is fine but had to try and find a space in one of the near by streets. Which we finally found 8 minute walk from the apartment. On first glance the building looked ok although could do with a lick of paint. On entering the studio apartment I immediately spotted it’s not a king size bed it’s a double with a king size headboard! The towel rail did not work so all week we had damp towels. There is also only one small window in the apartment that did not open fully as it was corroded by sea water so the apartment was unbearably hot. Although kitchen was well kitted out there were no instructions for cooler/ dishwasher/ washing machine. People spend their hard earned cash it’s not hard to make sure all these things are working and ready for a guest. Also description says Hot Tub on roof terrace this was out of order. So in all I would never return to this accommodation!…

we stayed for a week in an apartment with sea view and balcony. Ideal! The apartment had everything we needed, was clean and had easy instructions for initial access. There was no parking with this apartment, but we booked and parked on a private drive 5 minutes walk away. So good, we've booked for next year

As a birthday treat, my sister and her husband took my wife and I to Newquay for a week long break to the Rocklands Apartments. Prior to our arrival, we were sent a comprehensive email detailing the access arrangements for the underground garage and door key box. We were then met by the resident manager who explained all the facitities and left us in no doubt we were in good hands. We visited the Eden Project, Jamaica Inn, Padstow and Falmouth and had a throughly good time. Apartment 35, on the fifth floor, ticked all the boxes and with an onsite Pizza Express, I couldnt have wishes for a better birthday present. Im sure we will return. i really struggle to find a downside to my visit and my only 'gripe' was that the pillows were a bit hard for my liking, which I will remedy by taking my own next time.…

We stayed in 32 rocklands which had everything we needed (maybe an extra frying pan would have been helpful but really no major drama!). The apartment was clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. The location is just outside of the main town which was perfect and overlooks Tolcarne beach. The views are stunning and we definitely want to come back in the Summer! Only downside really was lack of parking - street parking is limited but we managed - not sure how easy this would be in the Peak season.

A very decent seaside one bedroom apartment with great sea views and private patio balcony. However the apartment is directly above a Pizza Express and would imagine its outside eating area could be a nuisance in the summer although didn't concern us because the weather wasn't that great! The patio is also overlooked by other apartments above and to one side. We were a bit disappointed that the first hour of our holiday was spent shopping for basic items such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, soap, etc. There is constant noise in the apartment. It sounds like air conditioning, but there is none in the apartment. Less noticeable with the patio windows open or the television sound turned up! Also the A/C noise from the Great Western Hotel and/or restaurant next door puts a damper on a quiet drink on the balcony of an evening as might the restaurant below - see above. We found that the electric towel rail in the bathroom can become dangerously hot. This would be very easy for a child to use as a a handhold on exiting the room. On at least 3 occasions we had to exit via the car park as the main door would not release. A few edges on the bedroom furniture require some TLC.…

We stayed in the penthouse apartment for four nights and it was fab. Lovely accommodation with only one drawback. Three double bedrooms but only two bathrooms and one of those was en-suite. Apart from that a very comfortable and convenient stay with stunning views of the beach. The pix show the two open plan lounges with panoramic views of the bay in the background.

This was my first time at the rocklands and what can I say but WOW. Amazing appartment ideal for me and my dad. So comfortable esp the Hypnos bed, was like sleeping on a cloud ( I gotta get me one). The views of the balcony and the roof terrace where simply amazing as from the bedrooms. The private underground parking was a god send albeit quite tight if you have a large car like a rav4 ect. The building inside was spotless. I never heard a peep from neighbours as u would in a hotel. The hot tub on the roof terrace was a supprise. We only noticed smell from the Indian n pizza place if we were sat out on the balcony. This appartment was ideally situated for beach and town. And even with what we spent on eating out and in on top of the cost of the Appartment was still cheaper than a hotel for us. Instead of being in seperate rooms on our own in a hotel, we had the seperate bedrooms but was nice to be in the same living space. Felt more like a family holiday. …

Beautiful location, unparalleled view, SPOTLESSLY clean, all mod cons and a brilliant, helpful professional real estate agency which altogether promoted a wonderful holiday. Parking under the building a great plus. Bus stop just outside the building and convenient shops and restaurants. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.
